Baths and soaps come naturally. And to add an accent to the bathroom, you can add small soap pieces in different designs. These are not just ornamental but functional as well, specially if you’ve got a bath tub for two, or a shower stall large enough for a couple to fit in.
The whole idea of small soap pieces is to have them in random corners of the bathroom, by the bath tub or stall, on top of the water closet, on his and hers table tops and sinks. Made from regular scented soap but in smaller sizes, these soaps are set in molds shaped like fruits or shells.
These mini-soaps are not just for homes. Boutique hotels also stock these for the use of guests. Since boutique hotels are usually smaller, there is more leeway to give more attention to guests. And one way they do this is to have one-of-a-kind soap in different shapes. Financially, the boutique hotels come out ahead because these are a lot cheaper than designer soaps or natural skin care product soaps sold at specialty shops.
Relative to larger size or regular size soap, these design soaps are more not as easy to handle. However, with more of these all around the bathroom, the can replace any potpourri you’d normally use. Besides, they small better.
Although these are not stocked at the supermarket, most specialty shops carry these small accents. Otherwise, you can also use smaller size soap and carve them out to your own shapes and sizes.
