Bath Accessories

Going shopping today for those wonderful and colorful kid’s bath rugs made in China? There are so many choices from sea scenes to super heroes it is hard to tell which one is the best buy. One major problem arises is if your children are of different genders. It is a blessing to have all boys or all girls. The selection of kid’s bath room rugs become 100% easier. The real problem surfaces when you have one bathroom shared by a boy and a girl. The war begins before you get into the shopping market parking lot.

“I WANT Cinderella and the seven dwarfs” cries the daughter.

“Drop dead you sissy, I want Dark Vader and the Star War fighters.” screams the son.

The mom’s response is, “Stop arguing. You will get what I buy you.”

Across the board rooms of America’s retail giants, the public relations people are figuring out how to create more domestic grief. One way this is accomplished is the be sure of the poor quality of the kid’s bath mats.

Have you ever notice that after their first washing the little curly stings begin falling out and collecting in the washing machine? When you put them in the dryer, the lent filter becomes clogged with the obnoxious strings that clings to every piece of clothing. After the third washing it is time to go replaced the kid’s bath rugs. America’s marketers have a big smile on from one side of their greedy faces to the other. We are selling more kid’s bath mats.

The domestic tranquility of the family is about to erupt into another miserable trip to the market to purchase another set of kid’s bath mats. Why not come up with a kid’s bath mat that is strong enough to with stand more than a few washings? The answer to that my friend is still blowing in the wind. The corporate giants would holler that it would increase their costs and reduce their profits if someone actually made a decent quality of a kid’s bath mat.

The world market would also scream since most kid’s bath mats are made in China or some eastern country. Foreign labor costs are rising since their quality of life is improving. With the cost of oil skyrocketing, the cost of shipping the kid’s bath mats across the ocean to the American market place must be outrageous.

It seems to me that Americans could produce a better quality kid’s bath mat in America. It certainly would cost less than having to pay the extra shipping charges with the price of oil fuel and the increase labor costs. It would also help the American economy by putting more Americans back to work. Heaven forbid the U.S. government doesn’t want more working people. They just more bureaucrats in Washington lobbying for the foreign interests.
